The Kobarid Museum is an ideal starting point for an organized inspection of the remains of the Soča Front. By familiarizing themselves with the contents of the exhibitions, literature, maps, and general information that is available every day of the year at the museum, visitors will obtain everything necessary for a successful inspection of the remains of the battlefield. Visitors can arrange for an experienced guide to take them through the former battlefield.

In the immediate vicinity of Kobarid, the Kobarid Historical Trail offers easy access to the remains of the Italian third defense line. Equally accessible as well are the positions on Ladrski vrh (650 m), on Molid (479 m), and via asphalt road the extensive area of the Kolovrat mountain range and the slopes of Mount Matajur above the village of Jevšček. The region offers unique viewpoints from which a panorama opens across the former battlefield of the Upper Soča Valley region.
