Autumn in The Kobarid Museum

Dear guests,

We would like to inform you that we changed to winter opening hours. The museum is open every day from 10.00 until 17.00. Besides permanent exhibition you can visit also two temporary exhibitions: »I was a prisoner of war!« and »Rescue in the Soča valley«

The Day of Kobarid museum will be celebrated on Saturday, 18. October 2025 in the afternoon. More details about the event will follow.

Autumn evenings will be, as always, diversified by the museum evenings. The first will be on Thursday, 23. October 2025 at 18.00, when we will host an Italian historian dr. Eric Gobetti and Slovenian historian dr. Nevenka Troha. They will present us the book »No, kaj pa fojbe? (What about foibe?). On the second museum evening, on Friday, 7. November 2025, we will host Vinko Avsenak, Marco Pascoli and Karl Pallasmann, authors of the book »Hidden places of WW1. From Carnic Alps to Adriatic sea.«
