Autumn in The Kobarid Museum

Dear visitors,

we would like to inform you that as of 1 October, we have switched to our autumn opening hours. We are open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. In addition to the permanent exhibition, during the first days of October you can also visit the temporary exhibition Suffering in war: humans and animals alike at the museum.

We would also like to announce some upcoming events:

On Thursday, 15 October 2026, we will begin our museum evenings. We will welcome Marko Simić, who will present his latest work, 12. soška bitka – ozadja in priprave (The 12th Battle of the Isonzo – Background and Preparations).

This year, we will commemorate Kobariški muzej Day on Saturday, 24 October 2026, in the afternoon. More details about the event will follow.

On Saturday, 14 November 2026, we invite you to join us for the traditional Memorial Hike – Krn. We will provide more information about the event in due course.
