Summer at the Kobarid Museum

On Saturday, 20 June 2026, the 24th Summer Museum Night will take place. This is the largest promotional event of Slovenian museums, galleries, and other institutions that offer programmes related to cultural heritage, art, culture, and history. The Kobarid Museum is once again proud to take part in this event. On this occasion, the museum will be open free of charge from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. We have also organized guided tours according to the following schedule:

• • 6:30 p.m. – Soldiers' Stories, guided museum tour in Slovenian
  • 7:30 p.m. – Soldiers' Stories, guided tour in English
  • 8:00 p.m. – Italian Ossuary, guided tour in Slovenian
  • 9:30 p.m. – Soldiers' Stories, guided museum tour in Slovenian

To help us with the organization, advance registration for the guided tours is appreciated. Please register by email or by phone at +386 41 714 072. We would also like to inform you that the museum will switch to its summer opening hours. From Sunday, 21 June, the museum will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, visitors can also view the temporary exhibition “Suffering in War; Humans and Animals Alike”.
