Summer opening hours – every day 9.00 – 20.00!

In Kobarid and The Soča Valley we have a real summer with long days. We find early evenings suitable to visit The Kobarid Museum, which invites visitors with the narration and presentation of the Great War heritage along the Soča River.

During summer time (July and August), museum will be open from 9.00 to 20.00. With this schedule, we offer the possibility for the visit of the museum to the visitors who spend the day in the mountains or on the rivers to enrich their day.

We offer different benefits and discounts as a part of the programme of joint offers in the region of Julian Alps. The Kobarid Museum is a part of the Julian Alps - Soča Valley and Bohinj card. Holders of the cards have a free entrance to the museum. Furthermore, with the Gost Gorij card visitors have 10 % discount on the entrance to the museum. Same discount applies with the waterfall Kozjak receipt. Museum and Vintgar gorge have reciprocal discount of 10 % for the visitors of one of the monuments. You can buy a joint ticket for so called “The best museums of the Julian Alps” – The Kobarid Museum and Slovenian Alpine Museum, where 10 % discount is valid on the entrance ticket visiting both museums. For the visitors of The Kobarid Museum, The Monument of Peace Cerje and Peace Park on Sabotin 20 % of the discount applies.
